Asked by Anonymous - Skype messages not being seen: This has been a repeat problem with desktop app skype.  The messages are not being seen or received.  Has anyone ran into this problem?  These problems never existed with aol, yahoo, aim, amazing skype cant get this fixed.

Anonymous Says: I found this online where if you type /dumpmsnp in the message window and click enter, if gives you alot of skype details, but it didnt fix the problem.

Anonymous Says: I fixed mine by logging out of skype (not just closing, logging out).  Then I closed skype after that, logged back on and signed on, then messages started showing up again after that. Hope it helps

Anonymous Says: Try closing skype, then going into your skype folder here Users- Your Computer Name - AppData - Roaming - Skype and give the skype folder a name like OLDSkype.  Then open skype and it will recreate and see if that helps.  Sometime you can get old garbage leftover in old versions and this will at least get it cleaned out  You can delete the folder later, a new skype folder will be created there.

Anonymous Says: just had the same issue and the other person had to sign out of skype, then signed back on, then it worked.  If you have this problem where messages are delayed or not arriving, both of your should sign out then sign back on.  Ridiculous that microsoft hasnt fixed this problem

Anonymous Says: This really shows how well AOL and AIM had it figured out years ago, because they never had IM problems.  Skype is full of problems that I have seen.
