Asked by Anonymous - Honeywell Thermostat - How To Set Temperature : I'm trying to change the termperature on a  honeywell thermostat, how do I override this so I can just change the temperature up or down without messing with all the other settings and junk?

Anonymous Says: Its very simple, if you press that "hold" button, you will see the thermostat change and say HOLD on the top right.  Thats cancel any program settings and overrides it, then whatever you set the arrows to will make the temperature go to that so the thermostat becomes "manual". Make sure you have that system switch on the bottom set to cool or heat and not "off"  :-)
