I'm afraid my friend put a tracker app or spyware app on my iphone?  How do I know for sure?

Basically he had the iphone for a few  hours and he's the type that would put spyware on it, but I need to know how to know its ok.  Please answer.

Do this: Drag your finger down from the center of screen to get to search, type in the word cydia

Does cydia show as an app on your phone? If it appears then your iphone is jailbroken. Not only is it jailbroken if it appears as an app, but it means they went out of their way to hide it too! Restore your iphone in itunes immediately as you most likely have spy apps running on your iphone. Restoring it makes it back the way you had it when you first bought it (I wouldn't back up the apps to be safe, but backup everything else before restoring), so that would wipe out everything he did.

The other thing is make sure your icloud password is known ONLY BY YOU. If you are a child then obviously your parents may use find my iphone to know where you are and for good reason, but if you are an adult only you should know the password and make sure its not easy to guess, have both numbers and letters in it and change that now if you dont. Pets name, child name, favorite sports team, birth date, all that is easy to guess. Letters and numbers together are not.

Thats the only way for spying on an iphone because they dont allow that spyware crap in the appstore (thank god as it would be over run with malware just like windows was). If you have android then you need to run antivirus software because there are many spying apps and stuff like that which people can run on your phone. Also keep in mind that antivirus doesnt guarantee anything either as new stuff isnt detected, it only knows what is updated and what viruses were out in the past.
