Ipod Shuffle Not Charging

When I connect to PC it connects fine to computer but the light on the ipod normal blinks orange. I dont see it blinking at all, its completely dark.

Is your ipod showing in itunes? Meaning the wire is good and the ipod appears at the top in itunes, so just the light is dark and not blinking?

Yeah it appears in itunes fine

Go into the ipod settings. You should see a checkbox for enable disk use, check that box and apply and it should then light up.
