HOW MAPFAIL WILL OCCUR & HOW TO RESOLVE IT?

i think its because your map doesn't exist. Usually mapfail errosr are related to no map defined in cics or map just isn't there.

How do u handle it...is it using handle abend?

It's not an error that should happen, you have a programming issue if thats occuring. You could handle abend or check the specific error code, but either way thats not something that should occur

everytime I have gotten mapfail errors its almost always because the map wasnt defined in CICS
